Principles
1. We
believe in Infinite Intelligence.
God is more than an old
man/woman who sits on a throne and judges man by his actions. God is
intelligent. God sees all, knows all, feels all, and is all. God is
everything that is created. God lives inside each of us. God is the
magnificent force from which we are created.
2. We believe that the
phenomena of Nature, both physical and spiritual, are the expression
of Infinite Intelligence.
Very simply, God created
everything. God reflects his/her love through all these things. The
vibration of God lives in all things.
3. We affirm that a correct
understanding of such expression and living in accordance therewith
constitute true religion.
We believe that religion
is nothing more than understanding Natural Law: knowing that we should
live our lives as we understand our spirituality. Religion is not just
a Sunday thing, but an everyday thing.
4. We affirm that the
existence and personal identity continue after the change called death.
We are spiritual beings
who chose to have a physical experience in order to advance our
spiritual selves, and our personal identity.
5. We affirm that
communication with the so-called dead is a fact scientifically proven
by the phenomena of Spiritualism.
We believe that once the
soul leaves the physical body, we are still able to communicate with
friends and loved ones, through one who is a Medium.
6. We believe that the
highest morality is contained in the Golden Rule: "Do to others
as you would have them do to you." (Luke 6:31)
By upholding this
statement, we honor the God Spark that is within all, perpetuate good,
and set up a positive Karmic energy.
7. We affirm
the moral responsibility of the individual and that s/he makes her or
his own happiness or unhappiness, as s/he obeys or disobeys Nature's
physical and spiritual laws.
According to Natural
(Karmic) law, what we put out returns to us. If it is good, good
returns; if evil, then evil.
8. We affirm
that the doorway to reformation is never closed against any human
soul, here or hereafter.
As spiritual beings, we
continue to work and evolve, either in the physcial world or in the
spiritual one. This then enables us to continue to correct our wrongs.
9. We affirm
that the precepts of prophecy and healing contained in the Bible and
all other sacred texts are Divine attributes proven through mediumship.
We believe that the
ability to heal and prophesize was not lost at the time of the Master
Jesus' death, for he said, "I tell you the truth, anyone who has
faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater
things than these, because I am going to the Father." (John
14:11-13)
10. We
believe that reincarnation is a fact supported by scientific
documentation.
Through recalled
memories from previous life experiences, we are able to prove the
continued existence of the identity of the soul.
11. We believe that all
persons are created equal despite any social or personal standing or
circumstance.
We all carry within us
the God Spark, and God does not make mistakes. We recognize and honor
the diversity of all people, without judgment against a person's
race, religion, philosophy, or sexual preference.
12. We believe that we are
beings of the Christ's Light as exemplified by the teachings and example
of the Master Jesus.
"The spirit himself
testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are
children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with
Christ." (Rom 8:16-17)
13. We
believe that attainment of the Christ Consciousness is possible for
all persons.
God is impersonal, and
is there for anyone who seeks. We are all here on the earth plane to
achieve the highest aspiration, which is to be one with the Christ
Consciousness. Through each of our life experiences, we are able to
grow closer to that goal, much like Buddha, Gandhi, Saint Germain, and
others.
14. We
believe that children are the future of Spiritualism by keeping the
legacy of all those who commune with Spirit.
By teaching and allowing
our children to experience the God force within, they will help to
teach others as they grow, passing on this beautiful spirituality.
15. We
believe all things created by Infinite Intelligence contain Spirit
energy.
With the breath of God
and the spoken word, all things were created. As we create things we
put energy into them. So too with God: He has imbued all things with a
life from Spirit.
