About Spiritualism

What We Believe:

The USCL ministry is based in Spiritualism. Spiritualism is the science, philosophy, and religion of continuous life, based upon the demonstrated fact of communication by means of mediumship with those who live in the spirit world.

As part of their religion, Spiritualists accept and follow the teachings and example of the Christ Consciousness as exemplified by the Master Jesus. The Christ Consciousness is pure love, or enlightenment. Jesus is recognized as being enlightened, a master teacher, and the greatest healer and prophet of this world.

Spirit communication, healing, prophecy, and other phenomena of Spiritualism do not conflict with the teachings of Jesus. Jesus himself demonstrated the gifts manifested by the power of the Holy Spirit, and he encouraged his followers to carry on his ministry on earth. Spiritualists develop and practice spiritual gifts for the edification, upliftment, and empowerment of the individual in service to God and humankind.

Unlike other faiths with strict doctrines or creeds, the USCL ministry is based on 15 Principles, most notably the Golden Rule, Natural Law, the continuity of life, and personal responsibility. An experience like no other.

The United Spiritualists of the Christ Light is an institution formed to bring the message of Spiritualism to our area. We are a community of people who want spiritually fulfilling lives, who seek the truth in all things, who enjoy stimulating conversation on all manner of subjects, who value their families, who want to do their part to make the world a better place. People who are probably like you in many ways.
